Private and shared taxi services are available in plenty between Gangtok and these places. There is also bus service from Siliguri SNT bus stand and helicopter service from Bagdogra airport to Gangtok. The name Gangtok means the ‘Top of the Ridge’.

Itinerary
On arrival in Gangtok, check into a hotel. Explore the local area in the evening by own enjoy the delicious dinner at the hotel, followed by the overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12400 feet) and New Baba Mandir, both of which are only 32 kilometres from Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake is regarded as sacred by the locals. It is about 1 km long, oval in shape, and 15 metres deep. You can spend peaceful moments here. New Baba Mandir is a distinguished sightseeing place of Gangtok. It is located on the Indo-China border, and honours “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian Army soldier. You can also go to Nathula Pass (closed Monday & Tuesday), which is located on the India-China border. However, you have to inform us in advance, as a permit needs to be obtained. Return to your hotel in Gangtok. Spend the night in your comfortable room because you’ll be visiting more amazing sights the next day.
In the first half of the day, you will explore the major tourist attractions of Gangtok, Ropeway Do-Drul Chorten Namgyal Institute of Tibetology Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed) Flower Show (Orchid) In the later part of the day, you will return to the hotel. You will have an assisted transfer to Bagdogra/ Pakyong/New Jalpaiguri Station/Siliguri.
